Vietnam – Vinpearl Co. presents plans for US$2.2bn casino on Hon Tre Island

Leisure and hospitality company Vinpearl Co., part of Vingroup, wants to build a coastal casino resort on Hon Tre Island in Vietnam’s Khanh Hoa Province, which would include a casino, 1,200 room 5-star hotel and a convention center at a cost of US$2.2bn.
It would be Vietnam’s ninth casino and the second in Khanh Hoa Province. KN Paradise Cam Ranh is due to open its casino there in 2023.
The first phase of the development would see US$1.1bn spent on the casino, which would open in 2024 with 200 tables and 2,000 electronic game machines.The second phase would be completed by the end of 2025, bringing a 1,200 room hotel, convention center and a broader entertainment complex to fruition.
