Three appointments strengthen BetComply’s ability to support operators and suppliers across licensing and AML

BetComply has added three experienced compliance professionals to its team as it continues to expand the depth and breadth of support available to clients.

Tiago Scoda Botelho joins as Regulatory & Licensing Compliance Officer. He brings with him a strong legal background having spent several years as a corporate lawyer. He previously held senior compliance roles at bet365 and 3 Oaks Gaming.

At BetComply, he will support clients across regulatory compliance, licensing applications and ongoing operational requirements in multiple markets.

“BetComply has built an excellent reputation for practical, hands-on compliance support. I’m looking forward to helping clients navigate increasingly complex regulatory requirements,” said Scoda.

Meanwhile, Renald Micallef joins as AML & RG Consultant. Across a 16+ year career, he has held various AML, risk and responsible gaming roles at numerous operators, including SlotsMillion and Nederlandse Loterij.

“I’m delighted to be joining a team with such deep industry knowledge. BetComply’s approach is focused, pragmatic and closely aligned with what operators actually need,” said Micallef.

And Tina Singh joins as Technical Compliance Consultant. She draws upon 17 years of experience across international and regulated environments, including land-based gaming and iGaming.

BetComply has a strong reputation for combining technical expertise with practical support. I’m excited to bring my experience to the team and help clients meet complex technical compliance requirements across multiple markets,” said Singh.

The three appointments further strengthen BetComply’s ability to support operators and suppliers across licensing, AML, responsible gaming and other regulatory and technical compliance matters.

Loes Wetzer, Operations Director at BetComply, said: “Tiago, Renald and Tina bring significant experience and we’re delighted to have them join BetComply. Their appointments add further depth to our team and ensure we can continue providing clients with informed, commercially practical compliance support as regulatory demands evolve.”
