Online gambling sites operate in Rio de Janeiro have been offered a chance to register with the government and apply for a licence.  The Rio de Janeiro State Lottery – (Loterj) has extended the deadline for another 30 days, starting from March 6, for the accreditation process.

The decision was formalized through the Official Gazette of the State of Rio de Janeiro.

Interested operators must agree not to exploit lottery modalities in the State of Rio de Janeiro without the proper authorization from Loterj or the Federal Government.
