ClaraTech Monitors is advancing the engineering validation of a new 43-inch C-Curve Mini LED display developed for casino gaming machines, slot machine cabinets and other large-format OEM gaming applications.
The prototype combines a 43-inch curved display with 4K UHD resolution and Mini LED backlight technology featuring 1,152 local dimming zones, designed to deliver improved contrast, greater highlight control and enhanced image depth compared with conventional backlight systems.
Developed as an OEM platform, the display is intended to offer gaming cabinet manufacturers flexibility around cabinet structure, installation space, curve requirements, video interfaces, touch functionality and external lighting design. Optional PCAP touch integration and RGB LED halo configurations are also available to meet individual project requirements.
The engineering validation programme includes display performance testing, Mini LED backlight control, thermal evaluation, mechanical structure reviews and compatibility testing between the display module, controller system and complete monitor assembly.
Karen Ho of ClaraTech Monitors said: “Large-format curved displays have become an important visual component in modern casino cabinet design. Our objective with this prototype is to evaluate how Mini LED local dimming can be integrated into a practical C-Curve monitor platform for OEM customers, while maintaining the mechanical and interface flexibility required for different cabinet designs.”
The prototype remains in the engineering testing phase, with ClaraTech working alongside gaming equipment manufacturers and product development teams to gather technical feedback before progressing to customer sample evaluation.
The company expects the validation process to provide further insight into optical performance, system stability, thermal management and cabinet integration as development continues.
