Emirates Draw has announced that Melvin Francis, a 26-year-old accountant from Kerala, India, has won $4m after purchasing 11 EASY6 tickets for the draw held on August 21, 2026.
Five of his tickets were winners, covering every prize tier, including the $4m grand prize. According to Emirates Draw, Francis is the first player in its history to achieve this and the youngest of its nine grand prize winners.
Francis, who works alongside his father managing the family business in the GCC, initially discovered Emirates Draw through social media interviews with previous winners. He began playing in June 2026 and selected his EASY6 numbers using the game’s randomiser feature.
He initially received an $8,333 prize for matching five numbers before being informed of his $4m jackpot win on August 26. The grand prize was credited following the completion of security and identity verification checks.
Despite the win, Francis intends to continue working and completing his professional qualifications. Having already earned his US CMA certification, he is studying for an MBA and plans to fund his US CPA qualification using part of his winnings.
“I want to earn my US CPA qualification. I can now fund it myself rather than asking my father for support,” he said.
Francis also plans to invest in expanding the family business, support his father’s retirement and contribute towards family celebrations. He hopes to travel internationally and has already purchased tickets for Emirates Draw’s $30m MEGA7 grand prize.
