Competitive entertainment company BLAST has named IC as the Official Online Trading Partner of BLAST Premier and BLAST Slam, marking the online trading brand’s entry into global esports.
The multi-year agreement extends IC’s sponsorship strategy into BLAST’s international Counter-Strike and Dota 2 ecosystems, with the brand appearing across live broadcasts, arena events, original content and BLAST.tv. IC will be integrated throughout the fan experience via broadcast branding, arena signage, digital content, fan competitions and live activations.
A central element of the partnership will see IC become presenting partner of BLAST Higher Lower, BLAST.tv’s Counter-Strike 2 skin value game. The activation aligns with IC’s focus on value, price comparison and rapid decision-making.
The brand will also engage directly with fans through activations at selected BLAST arena events, strengthening its presence across both digital and live experiences.
James Brown, Commercial Director at BLAST, said: “IC is exactly the type of ambitious global brand that demonstrates where esports is heading. By choosing BLAST as its platform, IC is investing in one of the most engaged digital audiences in global entertainment. This partnership goes beyond brand visibility, placing IC at the heart of our broadcasts, live events, content and BLAST.tv experiences.”
Tony Philip, Chief Marketing Officer at IC, added: “At IC, we seek partnerships that reflect our focus on technology, precision and performance. BLAST brings those qualities together while providing access to a highly engaged global community, making esports a natural extension of our sponsorship strategy.”
IC will make its debut at BLAST Premier Bounty, taking place in Malta from 21 July to 3 August. The Counter-Strike tournament opens BLAST’s second competitive season of 2026, with 32 teams competing for a prize pool of US$1.15m.
