By - 7 May 2024

Having started in October 2022, construction work is continuing at the Divonne-les-Bains casino (Ain), while the games room has moved to a temporary establishment.

The structural work has just been completed with sublime arches, located at the level of the old ceilings, setting the trend for this new venue, which will take on an art deco style. The games room will house an electronic English roulette, 42 new machines, a poker room and a space dedicated to tournaments. The adjacent catering area will offer fine and elaborate gastronomy to more than a hundred guests. Finally, the grandiose performance hall promises high-end shows and entertainment in the town of Ain.

As reported by Journal des Casinos, the objective is to pamper visitors to the casino, in particular its Swiss clientele, fans of traditional games and who have strong purchasing power whenthe new casino opens its doors on the other side of the border, in Lausanne, only about 50km from Divonne-les-Bains.

This work, which will cost €10m should be completed in November. At the end of the 2022-2023 financial year, the Divonne-les-Bains casino posted gross gaming revenue of €42.68m and was in 10th place in the French ranking.
