Primm property will reopen with 422 gaming machines
Three weeks after securing a transfer of operations, Nevada gaming and convenience-store company Terrible’s has announced the official reopening of the Primm Valley Casino, today, July 22.
It will reopen with 422 gaming machines, 250 rooms, a William Hill Sports Book, a sports bar, and a 24/7 quick-bites eatery.
Terrible’s said: “Since gaining access to the property when Terrible’s assumed management control on July 5, hundreds of team members from Primm Valley Casino, alongside their fellow dedicated employees from across the Terrible’s network, have worked around the clock to bring the iconic Nevada property back to life for its guests.”
The reopening will see speeches from Bryan Breeden, Terrible’s Vice President of Advertising and Marketing, Mark Bennett, Vice President of Gaming Operations, and Cory Clemetson, grandson of Primm Founder Ernie Primm and President of the Primm South Real Estate Company.
The property’s previous owner, Affinity Interactive, said on May 5 that it would permanently close its operations at all three Primm hotel-casino properties, namely Primm Valley Casino, Buffalo Bill’s and Whiskey Pete’s. On July 5, it transferred management of the three assets from Affinity Interactive’s subsidiary, the Primadonna Company, to Terrible’s.
Terrible’s added: “Primm occupies a unique place in Nevada’s history and in the minds of millions of travelers who have passed through this gateway community over the decades. We see tremendous opportunity to help restore energy, excitement, and momentum to these properties through our operational partnership with the Primm family.”
