WPT Prime Amsterdam breaks entry record with 1,340 players

The WPT Prime poker tournament in Holland Casino Amsterdam Centrum has set a new participant record. There were no less than 1,340 entries in the Main Event. Dutchman Rutger Hennen won the record edition and took the first prize of €208,095.

With more than thirteen hundred entries, the main event of this edition of the WPT was the best attended ever. “Unbelievable,” said Operations Manager Jerry Warmerdam. “The fact that there were so many registrations went like wildfire. They still came from far and wide to participate. This was a really special edition.”
