Founded in 2005, DS Virtual Gaming is driven by a single goal: to bring technical stability and content-led innovation to the global gaming industry. For Araksi Sargsyan, Chief Commercial Officer at DS Virtual Gaming, the importance of absolute transmission stability is critical.
Rather than relying on traditional computer-generated imagery (CGI), DS Virtual Gaming has established a unique market position from day one by partnering exclusively with the world’s leading racing venues.
This visionary approach has resulted in a massive library of over 20,000 high-definition videos, successfully turning real, pre-recorded events into premium virtual gaming products.
At iGB L!VE in London, there was naturally a focus on the UK. Not that the UK market is anything new to DS Virtual Gaming.
Araksi Sargsyan, Chief Commercial Officer at DS Virtual Gaming, said: “We officially secured our UK Gambling Commission licences in September 2020. This includes our remote host licences for virtual events, gambling software, and game hosting. We are currently in active integration and rollout discussions with several key operators. Because of our extensive background in retail operations across Europe, Latin America, and Africa, we are positioning ourselves to offer both high-performance digital streaming and robust retail/terminal setups to the UK’s leading bookmakers.”
“The primary benefit of this approach for the UK market lies in the deep-rooted heritage of racing,’ she added. “For British players, there is a special, generational link to local courses — places that are often inextricably linked with family tradition and local history. Knowing that true engagement stems from authenticity, DS Virtual Gaming invests heavily in recreating the entire immersive atmosphere of these venues. This strategy is underpinned by the company’s exclusive partnership with Towcester Racecourse, a collaboration specifically designed to serve the sophisticated palates of UK racing fans by bringing a much-loved local venue directly to their mobile phones.”

The Towcester content has been live since 2019 with both Racing Dogs 6 and Racing Dogs 8 and is well played all over the world. The formula has been mirrored with Kincsem Park in Hungary, Hipódromo de las Américas in Mexico, Woodbine in Canada, Tee International Circuit in Austria and WGP in Brazil.
Sargsyan added: “While cinematic visual quality initially captures player interest, the underlying infrastructure serves as the real foundation of any virtual racing offering. Having successfully deployed its platform across some of the most diverse regulatory and geographical landscapes in Europe, Latin America, and Africa, DS Virtual Gaming has engineered its systems to solve the industry’s most critical challenge: absolute transmission stability.
“In real sports, punters can check results on the internet at any time; however, in the virtual gaming world, everything depends on perfect transmission without interruptions. Any delay or breach in the broadcast instantly breaks the trust of the players. Seamless continuity, whether the system is running in a flagship betting shop in central London or a remote terminal overseas, is what establishes and maintains operator credibility.”
This exceptional level of reliability is guaranteed through DS Virtual Gaming’s full, in-house development model. The company owns 100 per cent of the software stack, eliminating the inherent vulnerabilities of third-party integrations. Crucially, this philosophy extends beyond software; the company also designs and manufactures its own Self-Service Betting Terminals (SSBTs) and Point of Sale (POS) hardware. By bringing both software and hardware under one technical umbrella, operators benefit from simple deployment, easier maintenance, and a frictionless end-user experience.
Speaking from the London expo, Sargsyan added: “The UK is one of the most mature, heritage-driven sports betting markets in the world. Because UK punters have a deep emotional and generational connection to local, physical racing, our unique approach uses 100 per cent authentic, real pre-recorded video to fill a major gap. Between the massive retail betting shop network and the dominant mobile betting space, we see the UK as one of our most significant growth markets.
“Ultimately, what the UK market requires is flexible solutions that can adapt as operational needs change,’ she added. ‘Through dedicated, bespoke development, DS Virtual Gaming ensures that retail and digital operators are consistently provided with tailored tools, allowing them to remain one step ahead of changing market dynamics.”
DS Virtual Gaming will be launching a game in time for SBC Lisbon in October, which has no analogues at all, with the whole booth at the show dedicated to the game.
