Fanatics launches all-in-one sports and casino app

Fanatics Betting and Gaming has launched Fanatics Sports & Casino, a new app combining Fanatics Sportsbook, Fanatics Casino and Fanatics Markets within a single customer experience. The app provides customers with one account and FanCash balance across the company’s betting, casino gaming and prediction markets products, with the experience automatically adapting according to the customer’s location.

Fanatics Sportsbook is currently available in 23 US states and Washington D.C., while Fanatics Casino operates in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia. Fanatics Markets, the company’s federally regulated event contracts platform, is available across 22 states and four US territories.

The launch means Fanatics can offer different products through the same app depending on their availability within individual jurisdictions, including markets such as California, Texas, Florida, New York and Pennsylvania. Central to the combined proposition is FanCash, which customers can earn through betting, trading and casino play. FanCash can subsequently be redeemed across the wider Fanatics ecosystem on products including official merchandise and collectibles. FanCash earned through Fanatics Sports & Casino also contributes towards customers’ status within Fanatics ONE, the company’s loyalty programme spanning its wider sports platform.

Fanatics said the launch represents the next phase of its strategy to build a connected ecosystem around sports fans, linking gaming activity with rewards and experiences elsewhere within the group.

Fanatics Sports & Casino is available on iOS and Android. Existing Fanatics Sportsbook, Fanatics Casino and Fanatics Markets customers can move to the new experience through an app update, retaining their existing account details, funds, FanCash and Fanatics ONE status.
