Nominations open for Global Gaming Women’s Patty Becker Pay It Forward Award
GGW’s flagship global award program accepting nominations now through July 3
Global Gaming Women (GGW), a non-profit dedicated to supporting, inspiring, and influencing the development of women in gaming, is accepting nominations for the 2026 Patty Becker Pay It Forward Award now through July 3 at 5:00 p.m. PST.
This prestigious award recognizes individuals who embody Patty Becker’s legacy of generosity, mentorship, advocacy, and unwavering commitment to helping others succeed. Each nominee needs to have been a Global Gaming Women member for at least one year. They should demonstrate advocacy for the advancement of women in the gaming industry. They should have made meaningful contributions that advance women in gaming and reflect GGW’s mission and values, within Global Gaming Women, and/or the broader gaming industry, including commercial, tribal, international markets, and adjacent sectors. They must act as a game changer by supporting others through mentorship, sponsorship, knowledge-sharing, and connection-building, empowering fellow women in gaming to thrive and succeed
“The Patty Becker Pay It Forward Award is one of GGW’s most meaningful traditions because it celebrates the leaders, mentors, and advocates who are opening doors for other women across the gaming industry,” said Siobhan Lane, GGW president and board chair. “We encourage nominations for individuals whose generosity, leadership, and commitment to advancing women in gaming reflect Patty’s legacy and help elevate the next generation of women leaders.”
