The Calais casino now offers 75 slots, 24 electronic gaming stations and two traditional blackjack tables
After more than a year and a half of renovations, the Partouche Casino in Calais unveiled its new look in front of the group’s management and numerous guests.
The renovations have seen a new entrance created, the gaming area expanded, the slot machine selection renewed, and the dining areas refurbished. The 164 m² extension has cost €3m, with 500,000 going on new slots and new electronic roulette terminals. The Calais casino now boasts 75 slot machines and 24 electronic gaming stations, including seven electronic blackjack terminals, in addition to two traditional blackjack tables.
Speaking to Journal des Casinos, Jack-Ary Hamo, Director of the Partouche casino in Calais, said: “Our customers are delighted with the change and thrilled by the new décor and the new range of games we now offer them. We wanted to modernise the establishment while maintaining the friendly and family atmosphere that connects us to our customers and is part of the identity of the Casino de Calais.”
Its restaurant has also been completely renovated to welcome customers in a new setting, now featuring two complementary spaces. On the one hand, Bistrot Le Touquet’s offers the opportunity to share a meal with family or friends. On the other hand, located in the heart of the slot machine area, Brasserie des Jeux provides a place to enjoy a delicious break during a visit to the establishment.
Since the reopening of the various areas, initial customer feedback has been particularly positive with attendance up by 4.97 per cent.
During the 2024-2025 financial year, Partouche‘s Calais casino recorded gross gaming revenue of €6.46m. This result places it 124th in the French rankings.
