The Superintendence of Gaming Casinos (SCJ) has initiated the processes for granting four operating licenses for casino gaming, for the communes of Iquique, Coquimbo, Viña del Mar, and Pucón in Chile.

Interested bidders for a operating license may download the technical bases—authorized by Exempt Resolutions No. 108, No. 109, No. 110, and No. 111, all dated January 23, 2026—as well as access the application system and its instruction manual, via the following link to the SCJ’s official website: https://www.scj.gob.cl/lista-de-otorgamiento-de-permisos/.

The technical bases were published for download on Friday, January 30, and will be available until July 23 of this year.

According to the SJC this marks the start of the phase for preparing Technical and Economic Offers by those interested in applying for the operating licenses, in accordance with the technical bases, for which they have a period of 120 business days until the submission of these offers at the Technical and Economic Offer Presentation Hearing, which is scheduled for July 24, at 10:00 a.m., at the offices of the Superintendence of Gaming Casinos in Santiago.

Furthermore, within a window of ten business days, until February 13, the consultation and clarification period for bidders will take place, which can be conducted via the email address indicated in the Bases. The Superintendence has fifteen days to respond to the inquiries, a deadline that expires on March 6.

Within a maximum of one hundred twenty business days following the Offer Presentation Hearing, the Superintendence must carry out the evaluation of the technical offers, using the methodology detailed in the Technical Bases.
