AGEM Index increases 9.8 per cent in July 2026

The largest positive contributor to the monthly index was Konami Corp

The AGEM Index rose by 167.62 points to 1,874.77 in July 2026, a 9.8 per cent increase from the prior month. Compared to one year ago, the index declined by 0.8 per cent, or 15.00 points.

During the latest month, five of the nine AGEM Index companies reported stock price increases, which resulted in six positive contributions and three negative contributions to the index.
 
The largest positive contributor to the monthly index was Konami Corp., whose 16.8 per cent increase in stock price led to a 108.32-point gain to the index. Meanwhile, Aristocrat Leisure Limited, saw its stock price increase by 4.6 per cent, leading to a 49.60-point increase for the index. The largest negative contributor to the index was Inspired Entertainment, whose 16.6 per cent decrease in stock price resulted in a 0.91-point loss to the AGEM Index.
 
In July, two of the three major U.S. stock indices decreased from the prior month. The NASDAQ fell by 3.2 per cent, while the S&P 500 experienced a 0.1 per cent loss. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average improved by 0.3 per cent.
