Intro.community has named a board and investor line-up spanning iGaming, sports media and Nordic banking as it prepares to expand access to its professional network this autumn.

The Norway-founded company is building an invite-only network designed to make trusted business introductions repeatable, with every connection requiring a verified relationship between the parties making the introduction.

David Flynn, whose career includes board and C-level roles at LCKY Group, Microgaming and NYX Gaming Group, has joined Intro as Chairman. Former Kindred Group Chief Experience Officer Britt Boeskov also joins the board, alongside Danny Keens, previously SVP Sports & Media Partnerships at Twitter, and former SpareBank 1 Sør-Norge Regional Director Erik M. Throndsen.

Intro has attracted 26 investors across 11 countries, with backing from the iGaming sector and Nordic investment community.

“Intro has already proven that warm introductions work best for business and this is how we have grown our investor base at such an early stage,” said Flynn. “We anticipate that this will only continue to rapidly grow as we look to launch more extensively later in the year.”

The platform is aimed at founders, investors, commercial leaders and recruiters. Relationships within the network include information explaining how two people know each other, with both parties required to confirm the connection.

Intro founder and CEO Øyvind Kvamme-Vik said the proliferation of AI-generated outreach was increasing the value of verified human relationships.

“You cannot reach anyone here unless somebody vouches for you,” said Kvamme-Vik. “AI maps the route, but humans open the door. That constraint is the product.”

Kvamme-Vik previously founded personalised video platform SEEN, while Intro co-founder Bjørn Furnes Fjellby founded Scout Gaming Group and led the company to a Nasdaq First North listing.

Version two of Intro has been operating with a controlled group of members since August, ahead of wider invite-only access this autumn. The company will also attend SBC Summit in Lisbon later this month.
